NFL Regent Street Party
First I should say I am just a little bit behind in blogging my events as the NFL Steelers vs Vikings happened on the 29th September but either way i shall share with you my little adventures with lots of photos!
The Nike store was jam packed full of people rushing to buy their jerseys, we almost couldn't move at one point and lost each other on another occasion it was manic in there.
I loved the American football display and really wanted to get my hands on some of those gorgeous yellow capri's the Steelers were wearing but i couldn't find any in the sea of people.
It was only logical that we purchased our very own American Football Jerseys, So I tried on a lovely fitting Steelers jersey.
So...What do you think?
(minus the white mark that looks like its on my booty, I promise you its on the mirror)
Since my favorite colour is yellow and lucky numbers are 2 and 7 i thought it was magical that the tops they had most of were the number 7 and the Steelers are yellow!
I am not a gigantic fanatic religious follower when it comes to sports but i love the feeling of excitement and being happy joining in with people who are equally as happy just spreads uncontrollably like a contagious pandemic disease!
So even though quite alot of people say Americans are over the top with their patrioticness, I say good on them! at least they are happy!
Mr T noticed on this photo that the guy standing next to me looks oddly like he could be my cousin....Strange!
Here I am under the Jaguars head but the photographer was amused by the looky likey and just focused on us two, and not the fact I am standing in a jaguars head.
Here is a signed helmet by Landry Jones which comes with its own Warning sign!
Getting into the swing of things, If you are wondering what they are wearing on their heads, they are American footballs.
There was lots going on adventure courses, massive blown up mascots, a stage, the super bowl trophy we even saw Pittsberg Steelers very own Willie Colon just walking casually down Regent Street and people just letting him walk by, I bet that was different for him, rather than being mobbed in America.
All of men, I wonder what they are watching hmmm.....?
The Minnesota Vikings Cheerleaders thats who, I couldn't even get close to watch.
Our Snacks were ITSU Crispy Seaweed, 24 sheets in one packet they were lovely at £1.24 in London, I have since found them in Waitrose for £1.
